- Keep your feet dry. Avoid developing a fungal or bacterial infection by keeping your feet dry. When socks become damp or wet, swap them out for a clean, dry pair. Also, make sure the areas between the toes are dried carefully before putting on socks after showering or bathing.
Stretch daily.
